Board meetings are held on the first
Monday of each month at 5:00 p.m. If the first Monday of the month should fall
on a holiday, the meeting is then held the following Monday.
The White Hall Township Library
Trustees met Monday, August 2, 2010, at the library with the following members
present: Pam Painter, Mary F. Tunison, Dawn Ballard,
Jessica Henry, Tom Verity, Jenny Dawdy & librarian
Alice Ford. President Henry called the meeting to order at 5:15 p.m.
The secretary read the minutes of
the July meeting. There was a correction, the title of the summer reading
program was "Scare up a Good Book". The minutes were approved.
Tom presented the treasurer's report: NOW account receipts, $5,000. from the MM account and .57 interest from WH Bank,
disbursements $2,655.84 with an ending balance of $3,560.27. Disbursements from
MM account $5,752.19. Total cash accounts $8,118.99. Bills
to be paid $316.93 plus payroll. Investment accounts on file at library.
Alice gave the librarian's report:
Circulation for July was 985.
Alice will contact Rhone Gillis to
ask if we can pay him quarterly for his computer services, beginning in Oct.
2010.
The patron with late books has not
yet been contacted.
Pam noted that there were 23
different students for the summer reading program. After discussion Mary
Frances made a motion to pay Dewalen, at Main Street,
for any ice cream the students received. Motion passed.
Alice has received the Per Capita
Grant form.
Worker's Comp insurance will go back
to Bituminous Ins., per Bob Moulton
The restroom sink faucet is
dripping. A motion was made by Pam, seconded by Tom to repair if possible, if
not, replace with a new wall hanging model.
Alice will check on the commitment
letter on E-rate.
The next meeting will be Sept. 13,
2010 due to Labor Day being a holiday.
Alice sent in the Stanley Frech Grant.
Being no further business, meeting
adjourned at 5:50 p.m.
