MARCH LIBRARY MINUTES
1. Discussion on Public Act 97-504 regarding Open Meetings. All elected & appointed public library trustees must successfully complete electronic Open Meeting Acts training by Jan. 1, 2013.
1. Lights discussed, but we don't have to change them for a couple of years.
The next meetings (regular & annual will be April 16.

Twp. Library Trustees met Monday,
March 12, 2012 with trustees Beverly
Evans, Mary F. Tunison, Dawn
Ballard, Jessica Henry, Pam Painter,
Tom Verity, Jenny Dawdy, and
librarian Alice Ford present.
Jessica
called the meeting to order at 5:20
p.m. The secretary read the minutes,
they stood approved. Tom presented
the treasurer's report: NOW account
paid out $2,812.56; MM account
received $137.90 and paid out
$828.70. Income from the Friends
Chocolate Fest was $978.80 minus an
ad in the Shopper for $26.24, with
an ending balance of $952.56. Bank &
cash assets $34562.34; Bills
submitted to be paid, not including
payroll $1513.45. Investment
accounts on file at the library.
The
librarian's report was reviewed:
circulation for Feb. 813, compared
to 745 last year. Fines & fees
collected $84.53, spent $48.32.
Old
business:

2. Alice
received the letter verifying that
we will receive $3117.52 for Per
Capita Grant.
3. Tom
did pick up the warranty for the
printer.

was discussion on landscaping the
front of the library. Nothing at
this time to report.
New
Business:
1. Lights discussed, but we don't have to change them for a couple of years.

Discussion on Direct energy for
electricity. Commercial only.
3.
Discussion on tote bag advertising.
Just wait & see what happens.
4.
Reading program will be on Tuesdays,
July 10, 17, 24, 31. Theme will be
food.
